Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC broker Jonathan Moskowitz (CRD# 2335240) faces a $10 million customer complaint related to unsuitable investment recommendations. He has been registered with Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC in Jacksonville, Florida, since 2009, and Wells Fargo Advisors in Jacksonville, Florida, since 2009. He was registered with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated in Jacksonville, Florida, from 2004 to 2009, Citigroup Global Markets Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida, from 2000 to 2004, and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. in New York, New York, from 1998 to 2004, VTR Capital, Inc. in New York, New York, from 1997 to 1998, and Pruco Securities Corporation in Newark, New Jersey, from 1994 to 1997, when he was terminated regarding, “n/a the client signed a forgery affidavit June 1996 stating she did not endorse or authorize endorsement of a $555 policy surrender check. My partner sold the policy. I did the paperwork & never saw or had any contact w/ the client. When my partner John Spoleti delivered the policy, I deposited the check in my deposit book.”

In April 1999, the Florida Division of Securities and Investor Protection issued an administrative complaint and sanctioned the broker to a $3,500 monetary fine and a 30-day suspension. The complaint alleges that Fairchild Financial Group, Inc. (f/k/a VTR Capital, Inc.) and Brent Brown “violated Florida law by allowing Jonathan Moscowitz to use a sales script and make false, misleading, or unwarranted statements.” 

In October 2000, the State of Florida issued a stipulation and consent and a 30-day suspension related to allegations that related to “soliciting clients using an unapproved script.”

Jonathan Moskowitz Customer Complaints

He has been the subject of four customer complaints between 1996 and 2026, according to his CRD report. The most recent complaint was regarding: 

June 2026. “Claimant alleges she received unsuitable investment advice between 2020 to 2025, and she seeks in excess of damages $10,000,000.” The customer is seeking $10,000,000 in damages, and the case is currently pending. 

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Jonathan Moskowitz’s customers.
