April 2026. “The claimant alleges that, beginning in or around November 2016 and continuing for several years thereafter, the representative, through his Registered Investment Adviser, recommended private securities that were unsuitable and misrepresented certain aspects of those recommendations.” The customer is seeking $1,000,000 in damages, and the case is currently pending. The complaint took place while he was registered with Krilogy, and it was regarding private securities losses.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Krilogy may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by John McArthur’s customers.
