Were you the victim of Syndicated Capital, Inc. broker David Petray (CRD# 1974569)? He has been registered with Syndicated Capital, Inc. in Costa Mesa, California, since 2001. He was registered with A. G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri, from 1998 to 20021, and Everen Securities in St. Louis, Missouri, from 1992 to 1998, when he was terminated regarding, “n/a was terminated for violating firm policy for using outside email to communicate with client.”

David Petray Customer Complaints

He has been the subject of two customer complaints between 1998 and 2026, according to his CRD report:

April 2026. “Client opened 2 accounts, one retail account on 10.30.2025 and one beneficiary IRA account on 08.30.2025. The rep allocated the portfolios to align with the client’s risk tolerance, investment objective and time horizon. Subsequently, the markets suffered losses as a result of geopolitical events around the world. Client transferred out his holdings in kind on 03.31.2026. On 04.02.2026, he initiated a written complaint and demanded to be compensated for unrealized portfolio losses.” The customer is seeking $116,000 in damages, and the case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding common and preferred stock losses, and it took place while he was registered with Syndicated Capital, Inc.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Syndicated Capital, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by David Petray’s customers.
