Did you lose money investing with Summit Brokerage Services, Inc. financial advisor Jeffrey Poosch (CRD# 2490703) regarding unauthorized trading and undisclosed penalties and fees? Poosch has been registered with Summit Brokerage Services, Inc. in Fort Gratiot, Michigan since 2007.
Poosch has been the subject of three customer complaints between 2013 and 2018, according to his CRD report:
February 2018. “Client alleges unauthorized trading, failure to disclose fees associated with a variable annuity.” The customer is seeking $500,000 in damages and the case is currently pending.
December 2016. “Client alleges they were never told about penalties relating to the free look period. The case was settled for $6,269.54.
July 2013. “Allegations that a mutual fund rep purchased may 2013 decreased in value.” The case was settled for $5,807.65.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Summit Brokerage Services, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Poosch’s customers.
