Erez Law is currently investigating Noble Capital Markets, Inc. financial advisor Nicolaas Pronk (CRD# 1726101) regarding conflicts of interests in regards to investment recommendations. Pronk has been registered with and president of Noble Capital Markets, Inc. in Boca Raton, Florida since 1988.
In November 2016, Pronk was named a respondent in a FINRA complaint alleging that he and Noble Capital Markets, Inc. solicited seven customers to purchase nearly one million shares of a company’s common stock without disclosing the firm’s multiple and material conflicts of interest. The complaint alleges that “Pronk and the firm knowingly or recklessly failed to inform the customers of the firm’s Advisory and Warrant Agreements with the company and the compensation it received and anticipated receiving thereunder.” The complaint also alleges that Pronk and Noble Capital Markets, Inc. failed to inform the customers of additional compensation the firm’s registered representatives would receive for promoting, recommending, and selling the company’s stock.
Pronk has been the subject of 10 customer complaints between 1995 and 2003 that were settled, all having to do with suitability, according to his CRD report:
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Noble Capital Markets, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Pronk’s customers.
