Former Sandlapper Securities Broker Mark Reinstein Investment Loss Options

Former Sandlapper Securities broker Mark Reinstein (CRD# 1486887) faces two pending customer complaints. Reinstein has been registered with Cabot Lodge Securities LLC in Greenville, South Carolina since 2019. Previously, Reinstein was registered with Sandlapper Securities, LLC in Greenville, South Carolina from 2014 to 2019. 

Reinstein has been the subject of two customer complaints between 2019 and 2020, according to his CRD report:

April 2020. “Unsuitable Investment.” The customer is seeking $175,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint took place while Reinstein was registered with Sandlapper Securities and was regarding direct investments. 

October 2019. “Negligence; suitability; negligent misrepresentation and omission; intentional misrepresentation and omission; fraud; breach of fiduciary duty; failure to supervise; violations of California Securities Act; control person liability; breach of FINRA Rules; breach of contract; loss of investment opportunity.” The customer is seeking $693,123.29 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint took place while Reinstein was registered with Sandlapper Securities and was regarding direct investments.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, FIRM may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Reinstein’s customers.
