Did Aegis Capital Corp. broker Gerald Sharpe (CRD# 2109210) make unsuitable investment recommendations? Sharpe has been registered with Aegis Capital Corp. in Red Bank, New Jersey since 2016. Previously, Sharpe was registered with National Securities Corporation in Red Bank, New Jersey from 2012 to 2016, when he was terminated regarding, “Discharged for potential violations of firm policies relating to 47 USC 227.”

Sharpe has been the subject of four customer complaints between 1997 and 2021, one of which was denied, according to his CRD report. The most recent complaint is regarding:

April 2021. “Timeframe: December 2012 – November 2020. Claimants allege unsuitable investment recommendations.” The customer is seeking $283,716.78 in damages and the case is currently pending.
