The complaint took place while Vanlohuizen was registered with SagePoint Financial, Inc. and was regarding common and preferred stocks and mutual funds.
April 2017. “Customer alleged inaccurate advice was provided in 2014 in connection with a rollover of a defined benefit account.” The case was settled for $13,000. The complaint took place while Vanlohuizen was registered with SagePoint Financial, Inc.
December 2016. “Alleged unsuitable investments.” The customer sought $275,000 in damages and the case was settled for $114,000. The complaint took place while Vanlohuizen was registered with SagePoint Financial, Inc. and was regarding direct investments, high yield bonds, and various energy investments.
