Robert Lorente Customer Complaints
He has been the subject of two customer complaints between 2021 and 2023, according to his CRD report:
October 2023. “Alleged lack of suitability on three (3) REITs purchased in 2019 (February through April). Various claims alleging negligence, misrepresentation/omission, common law fraud, breach of contract and fiduciary duty.” The customer is seeking $250,000 in damages, and the case is currently pending. The complaint took place while he was registered with Great Point Capital LLC, and it was regarding real estate security losses.
April 2021. “Claim is alleging negligence, gross negligence, misrepresentations and omissions, breach of contract relating to investment made in July 2016.” The customer sought $35,000 in damages, and the case was settled for $12,000. The complaint was regarding real estate securities losses, and it took place while he was registered with Concorde Investment Services, LLC.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Great Point Capital LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Robert Lorente’s customers.
