Morgan Stanley Broker Ralph Jackson III Accused of Unsuitable Investment Recommendations

Erez Law is currently investigating Morgan Stanley broker Ralph Jackson III (CRD# 1569213) regarding unsuitable investment recommendations. Jackson has been registered with Morgan Stanley and Los Angeles, California since 2009.

Jackson has been the subject of five customer complaints between 1999 and 2020, according to his CRD report. The most recent complaint is regarding:

January 2020. “Trustee alleges, inter alia, investments are high yield corporate bonds were unsuitable 2014-2019.” The customer sought $325,000 in damages and the case was settled for $165,000. The complaint is regarding corporate debt and took place while Jackson was registered with Morgan Stanley.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Morgan Stanley may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Jackson’s customers.
