Morgan Stanley Broker Ralph Jackson III Accused of Unsuitable Investment Recommendations

Erez Law is currently investigating Morgan Stanley broker Ralph Jackson III (CRD# 1569213) regarding unsuitable investment recommendations. He was registered with Morgan Stanley and Los Angeles, California, from 2009 to 2025, when he was terminated regarding, “Representative terminated following allegations regarding his participation in undisclosed and unapproved financial transactions involving clients and third parties.”

In February 2025, the United States Securities And Exchange Commission initiated an investigation regarding, “Subpoena for information related to a transaction involving Essential Coolers, LLC.”

Ralph Jackson III Customer Complaints

He has been the subject of seven customer complaints between 1999 and 2026, according to his CRD report. The most recent complaints are regarding:

March 2026. “Client’s attorney alleges, inter alia, that the trading implemented in the client’s account was excessive and unsuitable 2021-2025.” The customer is seeking $6,272,362 in damages. The complaint was regarding common and preferred stock losses, and it took place while he was registered with Morgan Stanley. 

November 2025. “Clients alleged, among other things, that he was overcharged on his investments from 2019-2024.” The customer sought $1,300,000 in damages, and the case was settled for $800,000. The complaint was regarding municipal debt, and it took place while he was registered with Morgan Stanley. 

January 2020. “Trustee alleges, inter alia, investments are high yield corporate bonds were unsuitable 2014-2019.” The customer sought $325,000 in damages, and the case was settled for $165,000. The complaint is regarding corporate debt, and it took place while he was registered with Morgan Stanley. 

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Morgan Stanley may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Ralph Jackson III’s customers.
