Erez Law is currently investigating FMSbonds, Inc. broker Paul Antevy (CRD# 2713105) regarding junk bond investment losses. Antevy has been registered with FMSbonds, Inc. in North Miami Beach, Florida since 2003.

Antevy has been the subject of four customer complaints between 2002 and 2020, according to his CRD report. The most recent complaints are regarding:

  • June 2020. “Claim alleges that the broker ‘mislead and enticed’ customer into investing in low rated junk bonds.” The customer is seeking $500,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding corporate debt.
  • June 2016. “Claimant claims that they have realized losses of approximately $150,000 from the recommendations of unsuitable municipal and corporate bonds.” The customer sought $150,000 in damages and the case was settled for $50,000. The complaint was regarding corporate and municipal debt.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, FMSbonds, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Antevy’s customers.
