He has been the subject of two customer complaints between 2003 and 2022, one of which was denied, according to his CRD report:

September 2022. “The complainants allege that in July 2022, the rep misrepresented two whole life insurance policies and forged their names on the related documents. They are seeking a return of the premiums paid.” The customer sought $800,000 in damages, and the case was settled for $741,848.91. The complaint was related to insurance investment losses, and the complaint took place while he was registered with MML Investors Services, LLC.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, MML Investors Services, LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Neil Nissen’s customers.
