Neil Kaplan Customer Complaints

Neil Kaplan has been the subject of two customer complaints between 2018 and 2021, one of which was dismissed, according to his CRD report:

August 2021. “Claimant alleges, inter alia, excessive trading with respect to investments – Jan 2015 – Dec 2015.” The customer is seeking $240,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding common and preferred stocks.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Morgan Stanley may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Neil Kaplan’s customers.
