She has been the subject of four customer complaints between 2010 and 2022, two of which were denied, according to her CRD report. The most recent complaint was regarding:
May 2022. “During 2020 through 2021, the customers allege that the Registered Representatives recommended illiquid investments.” The customer is seeking $100,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding corporate debt and real estate securities and took place while she was registered with Centaurus Financial, Inc.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Centaurus Financial, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Michelle Anthony’s customers.
