Erez Law is currently investigating former LPL Financial LLC financial advisor Jason Anderson (CRD# 4370191), regarding unauthorized trading, churning and mismanagement of customer accounts. Anderson was registered with IFS Securities in Beaumont, Texas from May 2016 to April 2017. Previously, he was registered with Kovack Securities Inc. in Beaumont, Texas from July to May 2016, when he was discharged regarding, “Incomplete signed documents found during audit.” He was previously registered with LPL Financial LLC in Beaumont, Texas from 2007 to 2016, when he was terminated regarding “Conducted discretionary trading in brokerage account, in violation of Firm policy.” Anderson is not registered with any brokerage firm.

In May 2017, two elderly customers of Anderson and LPL Financial LLC filed a class action lawsuit, alleging unauthorized trading, churning and mismanagement of customer accounts between April 2007 and January 2016. The case is currently pending.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, LPL Financial LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Anderson’s customers.
