March 2024. “The Statement of Claim alleges the financial professional recommended a speculative, illiquid, high commission product that was unsuitable for the clients. It is alleged this recommendation exposed clients to unnecessary risk.” The customer sought $25,000 in damages, and the case was settled for $6,750. The complaint was regarding real estate security losses, and it took place while he was registered with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc.
