Morgan Stanley Broker Joel Freedman Accused of Unauthorized Trades

Erez Law is currently investigating Morgan Stanley broker Joel Freedman (CRD# 1260557), who is accused of unauthorized trades. He has been registered with Morgan Stanley in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, since 2009. 

In May 1991, National Association Of Securities Dealers, Inc. sanctioned him to a pay $500 monetary fine regarding, “the net capital violation was caused by a $4,000 subordinated loan, which was deposited by the firm on july 30, 1990 which was not approved by the NASD until August 2, 1990.”

Joel Freedman Customer Complaints

He has been the subject of one customer complaint, according to his CRD report:

January 2024. “Client alleges, inter alia, that there were trades executed in his account that were unauthorized 2023-2024.” The customer is seeking $1,431,587 in damages, and the case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding options and common and preferred stock losses
