In August 2025, FINRA sued him related to allegedly recommending an elderly client invest $200,000 from a family trust in Clearday Inc., a highly speculative technology company. Public records indicate that the client passed away three weeks after the investment was made. It is alleged that he later recommended the deceased client’s daughter invest $100,000 from the family trust into Clearday, then called AIU Alternative Care Inc.
FINRA reported that the broker disclosed his role with Clearday, then called AIU Alternative Care Inc., as CEO and chairman.
