The complaint was regarding guaranteed investment certificate (GIC) and variable annuities, and it took place while he was registered with Truist Advisory Services, Inc.
October 2020. “Client alleges that representative made an unsuitable recommendation.” The customer sought $1,000,000 in damages, and the case was settled for $300,000. The complaint was regarding GIC, and it took place while he was registered with SunTrust Investment Services, Inc.
