Unsuitable Investment Recommendations by Former Cetera Investment Services LLC Broker Haiguang Yin (John Yin)

Erez Law is currently investigating former Cetera Investment Services LLC broker Haiguang Yin (John Yin) (CRD# 3249933), who is accused of unsuitable investment recommendations.

He has been registered with Packerland Brokerage Services, Inc. in City of Industry, California, since March 2024. He was registered with Cetera Investment Services LLC in Arcadia, California, from 2013 to 2023.

Haiguang Yin Customer Complaints

He has been the subject of three customer complaints between 2014 and 2024, one of which was denied, according to his CRD report. The most recent complaint was regarding: 

April 2024. “Claimants generally allege unsuitable investment recommendations which resulted in losses, misrepresentation of the risks associated and breach of fiduciary duty.” The case is currently pending. 

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Cetera Investment Services LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Haiguang Yin’s customers.
