June 2023. “Time frame: February 2021 – February 2022. Allegations: Elderly Claimant alleges UBS’s BOM Hargroder allowed her son/POA multiple unauthorized withdrawals without questions. Alleges UBS failed to identify, uncover, investigate and report elderly exploitation failing to follow internal policies.” The customer is seeking $210,500 in damages, and the case is currently pending. 

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, UBS Financial Services Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Gretchen Hargroder’s customers.
