Former Equitable Advisors, LLC Broker Anthony DiDonna Accused of Unauthorized Trades

Erez Law is currently investigating former Equitable Advisors, LLC broker Anthony DiDonna (CRD# 7283414) regarding unauthorized trades. He has been registered with Equitable Advisors, LLC in Woodbury, New York from 2020 to 2021, when he was terminated regarding, “RR discharged due to unauthorized transactions and misappropriation of client funds.”

In December 2021, he was barred by FINRA after he failed to respond to requests for information.

Anthony DiDonna Customer Complaints

He has been the subject of one customer complaint, according to his CRD report:

April 2021. “Clients allege that they did not authorize transfers from their accounts to fund new investments that were unauthorized. Clients further allege that signature on account opening documents were forged.” The case is currently pending. The complaints were regarding variable annuity losses.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Equitable Advisors, LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Anthony DiDonna’s customers.
