He has been registered with Vanderbilt Securities, LLC in Greenville, South Carolina, since 2024, Consolidated Portfolio Review Corp. in Greenville, South Carolina, since 2025, and Vanderbilt Advisory Services in Greenville, South Carolina, since 2024. 

He was registered with United Planners’ Financial Services of America A Limited Partner in Greenville, South Carolina, from 2017 to 2023, H. Beck, Inc. in Greenville, South Carolina, from 2010 to 2017, and Raymond James Financial Services Advisors, Inc. in Greenville, South Carolina, in 2010, when he was terminated regarding, “no longer comfortable supervising -mispresentation regarding material facts regarding termination from prior firm.” He was registered with J.J.B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons, LLC in Greenville, South Carolina, from 2003 to 2010, when he was terminated regarding, “Mr. Urich accepted a gift from a client without following firm procedures for approval. *Mr. Urich has returned the gift to the client’s estate.”

Cary Urich Customer Complaints

He has been the subject of two customer complaints between 2022 and 2024, according to his CRD report:

June 2024. “Unsuitability, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence and deception.” The customer sought $710,000 in damages, and the case was settled for $325,000. The complaint was regarding inverse and leveraged exchange traded funds (ETFs).

July 2022. “Unsuitability, breach of common law, material misrepresentation and omissions, misrepresentations of material fact, wrongful acts and self-dealing, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of good faith and fair dealing. and violation of FINRA Rule 2111 and 3030.” The customer sought $1,000,000 in damages, and the case was settled for $450,000. he complaint was regarding inverse and leveraged exchange traded funds (ETFs).

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Vanderbilt Securities, LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Cary Urich’s customers.
