  • Port Securities, Inc. in Newport Beach, California, from July to August 2016
  • Newport Coast Securities, Inc. in Irvine, California, from 2009 to 2016

John Openshaw Customer Complaints

He has been the subject of 10 customer complaints between 2002 and 2024, according to his CRD report. The most recent complaint was regarding: 

November 2024. “Three purchases of REITS occurring between 08/03/2018 and 02/19/2019. Client claims transactions were unsuitable.” The customer is seeking $300,000 in damages, and the case is currently pending.
