Wells Fargo financial advisor Eric Niedermeyer (CRD# 1680870) is accused of investment losses due to risky investments. Niedermeyer has been registered with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC in Portland, Oregon since 2011.
Niedermeyer has been the subject of five customer complaints between 2000 and 2018, according to his CRD report. The most recent complaint is regarding:
October 2018. “Clients allege FA placed their funds in risky investments and that they were not told the warrants could become worthless. (2/22/2017-10/19/2018).” The customer is seeking $641,271.40 in damages and the case is currently pending. This case is regarding equity OTC.
Four previous settled cases were regarding unauthorized trades.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Wells Fargo may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Niedermeyer’s customers.
