Investigation of Morgan Stanley Broker Jeffrey Leach

Were you the victim of Morgan Stanley broker Jeffrey Leach (CRD# 3231849)? Leach has been registered with Morgan Stanley in Naples, Florida since 2009.
Leach has been the subject of three customer complaints between 2016 and 2020, according to his CRD report:
May 2020. “Claimants allege, inter alia, unsuitability with respect to investments in energy sector – 07/22/2014 to 05/04/2020.” The customer is seeking $500,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding managed wrap accounts.
January 2020. “Claimants allege, inter alia, misrepresentation with respect to investments Sep, 2018 – Dec, 2019.” The customer is seeking $3 million in damages and the case is currently pending.
April 2016. “Claimants alleged, inter alia, unsuitability with respect to the investments in her accounts – 2014 to 2016.” The customer sought $1,500,000 in damages and the case was settled for $165,000. The complaint was regarding hedge funds.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Morgan Stanley may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Leach’s customers.
